The Consultation Institute is about to embark on a new six-month project to develop two innovative new solutions in the field of public consultation.
1. A consultation ‘data warehouse’. The purpose of this is to collect and collate consultation data into a single, searchable online repository.
2. An online arbitration service. This is an alternative to judicial review whereby disputes can handled online and independently by tCI experts.
Before we begin and to guide the design phase, we would like to gain your views. For example, how access to more structured and unified, “bigger” consultation data could benefit you in your work.
Little has been decided yet
The exact data we will collect is yet to be decided but our initial thoughts are that this would include details of past consultations and their types, response rates, demographics, issues, documentation, outcomes and challenges.
Before we begin this work and to guide the design phase, we would like to understand more about your needs and challenges in the consultation process and how access to more structure and unified, “bigger” consultation data could benefit you and your organisation.
You have been selected to help us in our pursuit.
As a small gesture of our appreciation we will invite you to have a free, early access trial at launch and invite to the formal launch in June 2021 (Covid-permitting!).
We really appreciate your support. There are only 9 questions in total.
